Much of Kazuo’s history is considerably non-important, even to him. During the many sufferings of Kirigakure during its establishment since the founding of the 5-country system, the country has suffered unreliable leadership, struggles with developing the land, and in-house rebellion among rival clans.Kazuo was one of the many orphans of the Second War, so he has no recognition of his origins. It’s rumored that his family lives and started anew after their village was pillaged by invaders, but he never bothered to find out. He was recruited at a young age as a child soldier to fight the ongoing conflict from both within Kiri and outside of Kiri.Given the lack of development in formal teaching and ranking structure, Kazuo was forced to learn all trades. Which by process of elimination, he found himself in the position of a stand-in medic. His knowledge of the human (and sometimes animalistic) body was one of the few distinguishing talents he had, and while his skill would not measure up to the many of the past, it was enough to keep him as field medic and sustain fallen soldiers as they were carried to hospitals.When the schooling system was established post Third War, he was forced through the Blood Mist graduation, then eventually recruited into the ANBU Spec Ops for his knowledge base instead of continuing down the traditional ninja path with the rest of the soldiers.He stays in his transmutable position of both a field ops and a medic ops, supporting all teams.
